WOOOHOOO Pulled the trigger today!
Bought CAVelocity's 02 record holding VR1...what an awesome and awesomely cared for boat...will upgrade membership and post pics after I get back from the Holiday weekend....let me also say just how informative this sight has been over the last few months while I have been shopping...a true wealth of knowledge on here.
congrats you got a nice boat CA took very good care of it
yes he did...I have owned a few boats over the years, and you can tell a really well taken care of boat right from the get go...looking forward to alot of fun on this thing. Next stop is Mr Potters Place in Bradenton....more to follow....hahhaaa
Congrats!!!
Nice ride, where is it going, I know of a 29 fountain in north FL that would like to give it a run:evilb: |
it will live here in Naples...Potter is going to be putting together a 548ci engine for me, I will wait to install that until I have some decent seat time getting used to running the boat first though. That and this engine only had 125 hours on it..
Congrats!!!!!!!!!! is this it?

Good luck with it searaycer!
My wife and I sure had a lot of fun with the boat..... now its time to move on to the next chapter! Going to look at open bow wake board boats this afternoon.... and put a large portion of that baggie of cash into the baby's college fund! |
I will CA, and rest assured I will be in touch with some questions next weekend when I get a chance to take her out.
Congrats!!!
Cool, Congratz!!!:coolcowboy:

Congrat's!
That is a real nice looking boat. |

CA, Make sure you look at Florida Pre-Paid college fund, that is the best way to go in Fl, IMHO. We did it for both of our kids, and it is working great. Dean |
Great Choice, Looks Awsome...When going to bigger power make sure you consider your outdrive. Not sure whats pushin it now, But its sure to be a weak link with a 548. Enjoy !
There is a low hour XR on there right now...it will be upgraded at the same time as the engine change...not going to happen for a while though..definitely feel it is prudent to get used to the boat first...

Hey congrats on the new purchase! I know if you live in Naples you will get plenty of good boating weather :-)

just came home with this 1, today . nice velocity searaycer
thanks, that looks pretty sporty also
CA did not misrepresent this craft at all....went out and shook her down in steady fours with the occasional 6 this afternoon....ran like a top and is the DRIEST riding boat I have ever owned....also he did not lie saying she rides best at 60-62 compared to 45 or so...rides right across the tops of the waves at that speed...we had a blast...
also, see you guys at the Naples run this weekend, and at Jacksonville...I'll be the guy with the huge ass smile on his face!
