RIP former racer Lance Taines
Bill Wishnick's widow sent me an e-mail about the death of Lance Taines in Northern California, he was 55 years old.
Lance was the owner/driver of a 36 foot Cigarette called Saber Dance. He was just in his 20's when he was actively racing. He raced in the early 1970's against guys like Magoon, Mel Riggs, Willy Meyers, Dante Tagnoli, and a bunch of others in their 36 foot Cigarettes. May he rest in peace. |
Sorry to hear, Charlie. My condolances to the family.
