Thinking of buying Baja 272 how much is it worth?

After doing a lot of research I decided I like the 272. I found one in CT, a 2001 with about 370 hours on a 502. Boat seems pretty clean. It is bottom painted though, comes with a trailer. What is something like that worth in your opinion?

I think market is about 25,000 on a real clean 2001, I watch the prices on them as I have one and I am seeing them around 18,000-22,000 these days bhut they always need something, usually interior, Smitty

Unless you plan to leave the boat in the water for extended periods and WANT the bottom paint...run very fast away from this boat. You do not want the headaches that come with bottom paint. Not the least of which is resale.

BTW, I had a 2000 272 with 502. Nice boat. Check other sites for comps.

good paint and the bottom paint will kill performance and resale. Other than that a nice one is usually 20k. I sold a 99 that I had for 21. It was pretty clean. I miss that boat. Very easy to maintain and looked great.

what are the main headaches with bottom paint? I tried researching this and everyone seems to have their own opinion. I will be trailering it, I don't think I would want to leave a boat like that in salt water. It was supposedly originally from Lake Winnipesaukee.
