Default Oneida Lake NY hit by Tornado

Last Tuesday 4-26-11 We had some crazy weather here in NY, I was in Rome NY about 15mi east of Oneida Lake on business. At about 4pm I departed and headed west towards Oneida lake on rt 46 to rt 49 which runs the length of Oneida Lake along the North Shore. I had to stop in Sylvan Beach to pick up a boat for brokerage and while enroute I drove right through one of the craziest storms I have ever seen or experienced. My truck now looks like a golf ball from (superball size) hail with insane wind and rain. When I got to Sylvan Beach I went down to the beach a got a few pics of a portion of the storm still over the lake. After taking these pics I headed west to my business and about 2mi from my destination I hit another wild part of the storm, while pulling into my lot I witnessed a 6000lb boat hoist with a top canopy we had on display, upside down in the road about 40 feet from where it was displayed. Just thought I would share these pics with you guys. Hey Sharkey do you have any job openings?????

I've never seen a cloud like that. What does the boat look like? Is it beat up bad?

Holy chit, I live around there(sometimes) and I have never seen anything like that before. Wonder what it looks like around my house? Haven't been there in a month or so but nobody has called me about anything. Weirdest cloud I've ever seen.

Wild looking cloud, never seen anything like that. Mother Nature has been a little pizzed off all spring, been dealing with some wild run off and flooding up here. Hope her mood changes before summer gets here.

Check out this chit, Raquette River up here in Northern New York this past saturday afternoon.
