Center Console Ideas

Now that I live in florida It is finally time to find a boat yeah I've been here for 5 years and no boat. but now the kids are older etc.

I am thinking a center console and looking for ideas. I want something that doesn't say I fish cause I don't fish ever. I saw the epic one day in jupiter and missed it at the boat show (did not go to the in water display) I like it but maybe brand new is not what I am thinking. I want something that is faster has plenty of seating and sporty I have seen concepts and deep impacts that I like. I just want some ideas because I do not know of every brand out there.

Take a look at this thread and you will be impressed. It is a very nice boat and priced really right.

Bar None, this is by far the BEST boat for the money, Sexy, Fast, Tons od Seating, 6ft head room in bathroom, Huge cabin, Loaded with everything (except fish stuff) Lifetime Warranty on Hull, and 5 year Extended Warranty on Motors. all for $189,000 call me at 913-908-7223 for more info and pixs.

Heck, it's got $90,000 worth of motors on it, do the math!

When I finish the new 33 Active Thunder with 300 Yamahas on it I will invite you for a ride. Keep in mind that is 33 without and engine bracket so actually you should compare it to most 36' boats. No smoke and mirrors here.

Nice cabin, huge cockpit and a helm where you are protected from the elements. If you don't look back you will swear you are in a total go-fast less the noise. But we have an optional intercom system where we pipe in 540 big blocks in surround sound.

Outboard dependabilty and a overnighter that tops out over 70 and cruises effeciently at 55 with a total offshore heritage.

Brand new 2012, under $200k. :drink: Should we ride?

Pete280 05-04-2011 08:12 PM

I thought USCG is requiring brackets to be included in loa? at least that is the excuse concept and latitude are using.

What comes out of the mold is LOA.

But I like that idea! Ok, brand new 2012 36' AT, OVER $200k! :evilb:

wananewboat 05-05-2011 06:51 AM

Any performance numbers on that boat and is that the only one that has been built?

We're in North Miami....
Our boats are custom built to your taste.... We can go Mild or Wild.... Your call.

The DI hull is as close to a "performance boat" as you can get... Twin step, 24 degree deadrise, sharp entry.....Fast.

Tom A. 05-05-2011 10:25 AM

After spending a day on a 39 Nor-Tech, I would be hard pressed to look elsewhere if I were in the market for a center console! That is one nice piece!

That guy Terry is pretty OK too!:lolhit:

Make sure you ask alot of questions when choosing a go fast center console. What is the beam? Is it a cored bottom or solid glass? Is it a 3 piece boat (hull - liner - deck all glassed 360 degrees) Does it have a race heritage? How fast w/ triple 300 Verados? These are just some things to consider.

Tim G. 05-05-2011 04:54 PM

First 39 DI is out of the mold

Another exciting day....
Our first 39 is taking shape...
Bow to transom is 39' even.
Beam is 10' 7"

Triple or Quad engines:drink:

x2, poseidon2 speed?

ActiveThunder 05-05-2011 06:47 PM

Harry said 74.3, based on a calculator. Brownie says north of 70 all day long without a calculator and then went into a story about some race to the Bahamsas with Aronow.

You haven't lived boats until you've been in the same room with these two guys.....

Has a Poseidon 2 been built with twin 300s and if so what would the speed be?

Are companies doing the console as part of the liner or as a seperate piece?

Statement1 05-06-2011 09:37 AM

Statement Marine has expanded into the Center Console market, with multiple Center Consoles in production as we speak. 2 Diesel 37's and 2 outboard 34's. One of the outboards is still available. 10' beam, 34' length, twin or triple outboards of your choice.....priced right! Custom built to your specifications. Stepped bottom, twin 300 Verados runs 65mph.
Statement Marine only builds state of the art boats, top of the line quality and impressive attention to detail and outstanding performance!

Ours is a seperate piece. Aluminum L brackets , lagged in the stringers and glassed in from the inside. This supports a huge Birdsall Hardtop.

Build a big sunpad for the girls to lay out on. Then make the storage area under it so big blocks or Yanmars can fit under there.

Above measurements are for my Concept 326. The bracket has to be counted in the documented length per the Coast Guard because it "contributes to the flotation".

See in this pic, how the bracket is not just the platform one stands on but also has "hull properties" (my word for lack of knowing what else to call it).

My terms may be wrong, like LOA should include every thing including motors, where LWL is length at water line and LOD is length on dock and so on; either way no matter what one calls it, the hull is 30' and the bracket is 2'6". I'm 37' on trailer which means it fits in my garage which is good 'nuff for me.

They were talking about the Poseiden center console? I have never heard of this boat and can't seem to find any information on them on the web. Is this from another hull? Is this hull number 2?

No, this is hull number 1, New company, just started sept 2010, everyone has to start somewhere, so we are pricing the first few of them cheap, just to get them out there and build a name. Any questions, call me at 877-601-BOAT

3 - 300 Verados w/ 6 people on board and 200 gallons of fuel. She's even faster without the huge hardtop.

wananewboat 05-08-2011 08:52 AM

Are many guys towing these performance CC, with the beams being over 8'6" I was wondering how they are doing it? I know you can get permits, but all of the time.

Pete280 05-08-2011 11:22 AM

I believe you MM, I didnt know it was a CG regulation, I always thought builders just included the bracket because they can advertise larger boats.

btw, is that your boat? that chick doesnt look like she's out for a day of fishing

I tow mine all the time between michigan and flordia we never pull permits but you are always taking a chance.. I have been told as long as you are 10 ft or less you shouldn't have a problem.
