Default Boat inspection

Got a guy that wants to buy one of my boats. He lives in another state I suggested that if he cant come look at it in person he should hire someone in my area to do an inspection. So he found someone and now they are coming Monday.
Being I have never did this before I have no clue what they will be "inspecting". It's a 19' boat so there really not much to inspect to begin with. Can anyone give me the lowdown on what happens?

The two surveys I paid for were pretty general info. Surveyor verifies HIN, model, year, motor, condition of everything, what might need replacing. They should also perform a moisture test of the hull, run a meter over hull. If you're not mechanically inclined or a newbie to boats it's probably a good idea. Will also provide appraisal.

I rebuilt the boat and know it solid. Hell the only wood in it is part of the transom and it's as solid as a rock.
Just don't want to be caught off guard and also make sure the buyer gets what he needs.

It's for this one.

I'm haven't been too impressed with the surveys I got compared to my own observations. The surveys are pretty general, unless something is detrimental. Just clean it up and say "have at it, I'll be inside if you need me." Surveyor that came to inspect boat I was selling, didn't won't any help.

Do they low ball the price? I mean NADA blue book price wouldn't pay for the 280T outdrive.

I asked the surveyor what he based the price on the recent fountain I have. Surveyor stated he spoke with the local fountain dealer who had actually offered trade in value for the boat. Then the surveyor told me what the market was bringing for the boat. I think the monza is going to be difficult for surveyor to find info, history or comparable sales for a value. The buyer may not have even asked for an appraisal.

I had my surveyor call ME after the physical survey and said he figured I knew better what the fair market value of the boat would be.

My surveyor on a boat I was buying, gotta love it.
