Capped is when there is no rub rail. They basically glass the deck and hull together. Looks great, but you better be good at docking:drink:

Its really popular out west. Adds qite a few thousand to the price.

Not sure how an interior can be 'capped.'

They only "CAP" the front bow and the transom stern.. The sides get a rub rail.

This is called a half-cap then, correct? A full cap would be the whole boat, right?

Bob hasnt lost his touch! Now is a heck of a time to get a custom new boat from them, probably more attention to perfection and detail than ever and all the experience they have aquired over ther years. Cant wait to see the final product.

CoolSpot 05-13-2011 01:40 PM

If you're putting on an Arneson drive, I'm guessing you're putting some pretty big power. What kind of speeds do you want to achieve and what HP motor would you need to get it in a 27' cat?

glassdave 05-13-2011 02:08 PM

Awesome graphics and colors. Just a thought, ask them for a pint or so of each color from whatever batch their from. Good to have on hand just in case. looks great

ILMORdude 07-19-2011 05:50 PM

Why not a screamin ILMOR 710? We have some in the classifieds that would go PERFECT with your scheme.

Rik 07-19-2011 06:55 PM

Nah, a Arneson/Sterling 900 would be better

BgBoost1 07-20-2011 12:04 PM

WOW...Nicely Done! Those Capped Ends make a big difference!

Dean Ferry 07-20-2011 04:24 PM

Sweet looking boat, can't wait to see the final product. I think you can't go wrong with the Ilmore 710.

PokerRun388 07-20-2011 09:28 PM
