Ontario (Canadian) Muffler law
This subject is being covered in several sections on this board. Please review the attached link to a Canadian government site.
http://www.tc.gc.ca/eng/marinesafety...e-menu-305.htm Basically, we must have working mufflers! Some disagreement surrounds the use of switchable systems. However, you must still have mufflers. I think we can have systems that switch from mufflers to through drive into the water exhaust. But "never" wide open. I already get far too much attention. So I'm trying to figure out how to comply to this law without damaging my 600sci. That way when pulled over, I'm legal. Then after the usual "what kind of a boat is this" "who builds it" questions along with the standard safety equipment check, I can be on my way ASAP. |

I think but I can't be sure . There might have been some blue flashing lights on a boat behind me . But it must have been a really slow boat because he just kept falling further and further behind . I have no idea why .
