why? i am trying to picture it in my head but the image is not good.....are you talking about vinyl as in seat vinyl or as in sticker?

2KOOLPerformance 05-28-2011 07:55 AM

sticker vinyl , instead of black or white

That makes a bit more sense than what popped into my mind..... SO you are considdering going with a faux carbon fiber cowl look? I would think it would get very hot and probably fadeout in a few seasons being on top and in sun all the time. Graphics on the sides last longer than stuff on the deck. You could probably have a vinyl wrap made exactly to fit.....

yes and always replace inexpensively

I like the idea. Going to maybe try it in a month or so to the Scarab

IMHO, tinting it makes a lot more sense. The back of the vinyl is gray- that's what you'll be looking at. If the windshield has a frame, maybe wrap it in the carbon fiber- that could be cool.

With the Scarab, You won't really see a back because the windscreen is molded into the boat so it's not see thru anyway.
