Default ants attracted to my boat!!

I been using Meguire’s wash/wax it’s a greenish color product. Is it possible this is drawing the ants? Every time I go to my boat I have a **** ton of ants in it.

Any suggestions?

I sprayed my Donzi down with the Ortho stuff. I did not get it on any of the interior because I was not sure if it was safe for that but did hose down the engine bay and any place else that I could reach. They were gone the next weekend. It turned out they were dropping in from a tree over my dock that has since been removed...

it makes a difference what kind of ants they are as how to get rid of/kill them. The big black carpenter ants are the toughest, on an old 16 footer i had that seemed to attract them i found the spray foam stuff and a few of those foggers tossed in the compartments and stringer areas with the cover on did the trick. For the small regular ants nothing works like Terro, put a few drops on some small squares of cardboard and just leave them where you think they travel. They take it back to the nest and it slowly kills 'em all.
