i was using the valvoline not street legal syn 20w-50 but bought some neo this year since i needed drive lube too.

7.3 is either a typo and he meant to say 7.4 (454), or could be a punched out 427

HAHA - I use Valvoline Diesel Blue in my 7.3!!

In the boat however, I use Valvoline Racing VR1 20w50.
