Default 4000rpm @ 60mph

Im kind of new to things and i didnt know if this was good or not.. 4000rpm @ 60 mph with a 24p x 14 and 1.50 drive, with the trim all the way down. Ive heard of prop slip and not sure how much this one is slipping. thanks for the help

What motor? And what RPM speed do you run at nuetral and positive trim?

454mag and havent had the chance to try playin with the trim, i was water testing in a small river since are lake is trashed

That sounds a bit of an optimistic speed at 4000 rpm with a 24p prop. Is that speed using a gps? That's what I'm doing with 30p props.

I got 1% slip...lol. Better verify the speed or the tach.

ok so your new to this..in order to achieve the proper rpm's and correct top speed you will need to trim the boat out more..your best bet is to go to the fountain owners part of this forum and ask''what is the perfect trim to achieve the correct speed,,with tabs,with out tabs ..
