We always spent the summers in Shrewsbury and Sandy Hook.
I remember when Jaws came out, I dont think ANYbody went swimming that summer.

I was at Island Beach State Park yesterday.I even went in the water.I saw some stripers, but thankfully no sharks

Hey Brian ... there's a 38' SeaRay on my side, I know the boat, but not the people. I'm on the southern side of Laurel and we've been here since late 60's ... local

Lots of baitfish in the water right now and the spring run of stripped bass is heading north. Lots of food for the big fish.

We caught strippers last week to 48 inches. The ocean was boiling with bait fish, just two hundred yards off the beach.

I heard that there were some nice stripers caught. My buddy Ron & his wife Jen fish there all the time. I think she won the tounament last year.
