Try some props before you lower the drives.

If you decide those lowers just aren't for you just let me know. :cool-smiley-027:

Easy fix. Remove Bravo's. Install Speedmaster IV or Vs and run some 18" diameter wheels. :coolcowboy:

Sounds odd drives out to far?bring drives in and tabs down in bigger water?Just a guess they should not blow out after re entry?:boat:

Running and throttling a boar with deep drives, and mild power is one thing. High drive heights and motors that make some good power can really throw a wrench in your game.
Yanking the throttles back and forth all day from idle to wot on rough water is not only hard on the drives, but the crankshafts don't like it too much either. And with carbs, pulling back to idle repeatly throws a ton of fuel down the cylinders I am still learning to drive mine. Blower motors will rev REAL fast if you forget to pull back. But, a slight weening of the motors every so often will do less damage in my opinion, than trying to give the throttle handles a orgasm. |
