extended waaranty on 500 HP?

Does anyone know if any company offers a extended warranty on Mercruiser 500 HPS? I am starting to look for a new boat and would love to get 500s but need something that i can get the extended warranties on.

Not a problem. I have a new 36 Outlaw with 500 EFI's on order that should be delivered next week. Baja gave us the five year extended warranty at no additional charge as part of this winters promotion. I also have a friend with a Fountain that bought the extended warranties with his 500's. I am pretty sure that passport is the one that handles it as Sy mentioned. I will let you know for sure next week. Even without the extended warranty, they are probably the most dependable proven motor out there.

I was offered passport also on 500hp's it a little steep(didn't take it) . In the 2nd year I lost one out drive,(not covered) but the motors are running great. It's a gamble if you by it you won't need it, If you don't you will. Good luck
