Any one blown a drive @ 70>
 

If so what happens? (on twins ) I lost one coming on plane but i'm sure it's not the same.

I blew my uppers in my Bravo 2 weeks ago "after hitting a submerged log" at WOT right at 70mph. It just jerked a little, kinda like I was running over some rocks. Came down off plane and no loss of control.

Thanks Griff But iI was wondering what happens when you lose only one(of two) at speed. I lost mine coming on plane, but thats not why i'm asking.

I think it could depend on the type of boat, cat or v. I lost a B1 at 90 mph on a twin 42 fountain. Starboard drive let go you could not notice any control difference just started to slow down and motor hit rev limter. Raised the drive and stayed on plain at about 45 mph. Hope this is what you were looking for.

This may not be what you're looking for, but..... I smoked my starboard engine at WOT- locked up and spun the boat a 180 in less than a second, on the rubrail. We disappeared in the spray for a moment, and the folks we were running with thought we rolled it.
Since starboard drives the PS pump, I lost that as well. Nobody seriously hurt thanks to McCLeod bolsters, but a VERY wild ride (the steering wheel broke my hand as it went around).
BTW, this was twin Alpha drives, non-counter-rotating.
