MMMMmmmm. I like this boat. It reminds me of the 50 Hustler that I saw in Miami. (only becasuse they are both about 50 ft) But if this boat runs 100 w 1800 hp thats impressive. The Hustler has trip 800 cu in motors w arnesons and ran 107 at the shootout. I think i would take the OL if i was buying

50 foot boat is massive to my eyes. Maybe Im bucking the trend of bigger and bigger but we have a 42 OL and a 42 Fountain in our shop right now and they just seem so freakin huge on the trailer. Ill take a 28 foot boat that runs 100 over a 50 foot boat that runs 100...huge difference in the thrill factor. Very cool boat in the ocean though :D

It runs close to 100 mph. I was shocked how fast it actually is riding together over the years.

Even a 42' gets small in the ocean, especially if it's a Fountain :drink:

I know I race a 27 :D Tell you what though, its a 42 PR Edition...comes with a ballast tank, real tabs, staggards and 6s....I could have some fun in the ocean with that :evilb:

At that price it is prime candidate for an Arneson conversion boat and Whipple stage 2 or 3 on the 600's. That is a reliable, bulletproof package. Kinda curious as to what that thing would run with a couple more HP and Arnesons. They ever put trip Arnesons on a 51?

Heck, if you sell all 3 bravo's you get 1 Arneson FREE!

Approx 11,500lbs. On the triple comment with proper hull design and proper wight distribution different things can be achieved speed being one of them. A newer 52SL with staggered 1075's runs conservativley 120mph and the triple version conservativly 135mph. Both full caboin loaded to the top boats.

no way a triple engine 51 and gooseneck weighs11,500. would like to see the scales your using

I trailer everywhere also. Adds for some additional versatility and less wear and fuel use of the boat using a trailer IMHO. You just have to be comfortable trailering the long load. It has some drawbacks, but I prfere it over high & dry storage or lift slip. Im Longer than most 18 wheelers hooked up. Gooseneck prob is better than off the rear, plus it allow for a tighter turn radius. I figure Im over 19,000 lbs loaded, boat, fuel gear and trailer. Then add in the truck.....

45tripps .. what rig (truck) & set-up do you use to tow that beast??
