Hull and deck now together on new Deep Impact 39
 

We just set the deck ring onto the hull.....
This is the test hulll- No floor yet... We have the floor mold, but I want to run it to check CG and load balance before sealing it up with the floor...

We are rigging the boat for testing now. It won't be long before it gets wet!

Thanks everyone...
FYI- Yes, this boat is also a 24 degree transom.... Very deep and sharp....

We're pushing right along with the project.
We have all the hatches and tubs ready, along with the floor liner.
The console plug is complete and the mold in process.
The helm seat base is also done.
T Top and frame are in the design stage.

We are working on the transom layout now. The Verados should be hanging on the boat next week.
This has been an extensive project thus far...

The finished boat will be highly impressive. We have had some very qualified designers working on this project. Some of our unique features should raise some attention.

The next pics I post should be when we have the boat in the water...:drink:

from the pic's the rub-rail look's so low in the stern"back " of the boat .
is the water line going to be below the rub-rail with those big outboard's on the back ?

The rail will be above the water. When developing the hull design, John Cosker determined a general float line via Hydrostatic computer renderings at both 15,000 and 20,000 lbs. Both had the rail above waterline.

This boat is 10' 7" wide and the "setback bracket" has a lot of floatation area built into it.
