LATEST UPDATE:

I just left the dock and Chris is still going over everything and making last minute checks.

For something I have been planning since April and hoping to have an opportunity to do a photo shoot at sunset as of today I thought I was going to be stuck with cloud cover. Wouldn't you know, that at 5:30 I rolled into the Liberty State Park and the sun came out. 10 minutes later the boat come up the Hudson River for the shoot. Somebody up there likes me !

Just processing the images now.

I hope to get a few pics online tonight.

Nick Buis from Statement Marine should be in any minute. He will be making the run with Chris.

Game plan for tomorrow.

Shoot the start of the event from land. Once they depart I will be catching up with my chopper.

Unfortunately OBAMA messed up my plans for aerial photos coming out of the harbor, under the Varrazano Bridge and past the Ambrose Light. Therefore I will be flying south and out over 20 miles in search of the Statement boat to catch Aerials Shots in 3 to 4 ft seas which is what to be expected.

Chris wants to thank you all for your support... He can't wait to get started.

Stay tuned !!!

Default Live tracking = Not so much!

Whats going on?

The live video feed isnt(hasnt) been working.

The Spot GPS tracking page was working yesterday/last night but now shows him zig zagging back and forth in the middle of the Atlantic? I hope the web page is wrong!

A part to make the LIVE FEED work had failed before the start. I ended up running the crew over to find another part at the last minute prior to leaving. The power to the LIVE Feed may have been lost after them running so hard.

I haven't had contact since they left.

I hope they will be fine...
