twin engine kill switch
does anybody make a kill switch that controls both engine?
Yes Mercury.
cp performance has one
Couldn't you just wire both through a single switch?
Mine is wired through a single switch. I got a nice looking billet one to match my guage bezels. Could have been livorsi.
I have a brand new one. dont have the lanyard. $25 plus the shipping and it is yours if you need it.

Thats how mine was set up from the factory.
Fountain sells on for about $35 including the lanyard. I think it is a double pole single throw switch because it has two identical sets of wires coming out of it, one for each engine.
I checked cp they only have one listed for a single engine how do i get a hold of fountain?
I did 2 and just tied the two lanyards together.
There is nothing that both motors use together that way there will never be both motors down because of one part. |

Bringing this old thread back up again.
My twin outboard Skater has 2 Mercury Racing kill switches: https://www.cpperformance.com/c-175-kill-switches.aspx The starboard kill switch kills both engines. The port kill switch kills the port engine only. That does not seem right. How are these supposed to be wired? __PRESENT |
