If I do it that is exactly how i think to do it.
No way to cut out the old hull.

Only one step is possible i think.
Example take molds for both side of front hull.
Make/laminated new hull copy's for both sides and attached to the original hull.

Boat orginal hull stand like it was but in front there
are new layer structure. So boat hull are after that deeper in front but same level in back. Drives holds
original positions.

Front layer gravitate to the back approx 2 inches to the step point (where back side old hull starts).
There are a changes when compare to the old hull angle. That could be bad thing.
however when drive higher speed there are not a much front hull in the water.

have you thought about adding a V pad instead? probably add just as much speed with a whole lot less hassle.

Nope. Just the opposite, my friend. Multi stepped hulls always run flat. Trust me, the whole idea of converting a conventional performance V-hull, to a multi or even a single step design is not practical...at all. To do it, would cost ten times what it would cost to sell what you have, and buy another hull(boat) that already has had the resources poured into it. I wouldn't waste another minute of your valuable time even thinking about it.

Man, your enthusiasm is great and for that I respect you. I think that as far as adding a step to this boat, it would ultimatley leave you dissapointed and upset.

Now, the pad bottom idea may be workable. ( Im not a glass guy or hydrodynamics engineer)

Listen to the guys here. no offense but Chris Craft Stinger does not have the right layup scheme to built on. They don't even had the hull and deck glassed together.
If you MUST do this pic an old better built hull. Fountain, Cigarette, Powerplay etc.

That the truth!! I had a friend find out the hard way. He replaced his rubrail and when he put in the new screws they knocked off most of the wood blocks that the screws were supposed to bite into. Thats what holds the deck on. You could just push in the side and reach into the cabin!

If this deal was so simple the major manufacturers would not spend anywhere from a 1/4 to a 1/2 mil to redesign a hull.

Duct tape and Bondo are cheap, why spend real money on stupid chit like hull design? Enjoy what you have or step up and make the change, you will live longer and be more prosperous!
