Cool project!

Whats with the airrator(Sp?) for the prop? I don't think I've seen anything like that before.

Very cool project for sure. Great to see something new once in awhile.

I would assume it is neccessary to aerate the prop to help get on plane. Cant imagine this motor makes much torque down low.

What's the scope on the other canopy boat in the other videos? The one with Grant Bruggeman (sp?) in it. That boat looks sharp too. Also running turbos?

Hey Rob....yes its an Airator I had to Fabricate...since the engine is turbocharged and only being a 3.0L, 1 of the biggest challenges was getting it to build RPM so the engine could build boost and make the necessary torque to get on plane... aslo if you notice at the top of the hose for the Airator theres an insert...I also had to fabricate different sizes there cause with the hose completely open, to much air would cavitate the propeller and make it tuff for the prop to grab...

@JasonSmith....Thanks

@fantastixvoyage... yes.. exactly what the Airator is for...The other vid made by my buddy from Offshore Outdrives and yes that is Grant, was the 1st test day of new turbo engines in Purgatory, a totally custom 43 Doug Wright....which is owned by Dale Crighton from the Cayman islands...There still in testing phases but things are looking very promising for them...

Thanks,
Brendan

We were anchored out next to you on Saturday. Then on our way up to Key Largo you and my buddy Shaun Torrente in his 28 skater hooked up for a quick little race and you both were well ahead of me. LOl. The boat looks like it runs well.

A 3L what? Who makes the engine? I understand you built it.
