try to get the hatch open, put the suction hose in the bilge from a gas powered pump, put the cockpit cover on,start the pump and wait,,you best have at leaste a 6 pack on hand then she will be floating in a hour or two..

Thunderstorm on Sunday July 3rd. Winds picked up and had a 3-4ft wind chop. I was told by the guy that took the owner back in. That he was trying to pull another boat off the beach he got sideways against the chop and on the beach and it was all over. 2000ish Baja 38 with twin 502's. Just pull it out and run some diesel through the engines. Be as good as new!

Man, very sad too see... Poor boat, but they'll get it back running again... Just gonna take alot of time/effort/work...
It happened to my family years ago on Lake Mojave, same thing, T-storm came up fast/quick, and we were stranded, so its hard to see this....
Also, any of you guys that have been on Lake Mead know, the water and weather conditions can change for the worse very quickly and its like a mimi ocean, at times....

Old Chinese Proverb Say:
"Put enough Water In Any Boat and It will Sink"
Hate to see this happen to anyone, glad no one was hurt, guess this is what insurance is for.
Best Regards,
Ray @ Raylar
