Outdrive help
 

Hi just lookin for some input here, my boat was in salt water before I got it so my outdrive got slightly chewed up. Before I reinstall the drive I want to clean it up and patch a small hole thats in the lower section. What should I use to repair the hole? and I was thinking of sand blasting before I paint it, Is sand blasting smart or will sand go everywhere it dosent belong? Finally what should I use as primer and paint after all my prep work is done, Is spray paint ok or go with a special paint? Thanks
