As far as skiing tubing goes, its definately not ideal. To stay on plane you will have to be in the 26-30mph range. Too fast for wakeboarding and tubing. Also holeshots are very hard on Bravo outdrives.

I'm sorry to disagree with you but we have done both with great success. I have the large K-planes as well as other props that are used when we do water sports. The boat stays on a semi plane quite well at lower speeds and it does not have to be on a full plane to enjoy water sports.
