Expensive MTI cats!! They may have some cheaper stuff. Good guys down there though. Look around LOTO. Lots of 24-25 Baja boats around. If I come across something I'll let you know.

I would imagine lake erie gets pretty rough. You should get a boat with good deadrise (24 degrees). I might be wrong, but I believe Pachangas are 21 or 22 degrees.

Yeah the lake gets rough, but I could care less about a rough ride... I have been in some **** and I never get worried.. But I will look into what the dead rise is. good to know,

You can get into Baja 280's all day long for 20K. 30' twin engine, 24 degree deadrise and lots of room in the cockpit and cabin. They run in the 70 MPH range with 454's, and handel the rough well.

Great starter offshore boat.
