So it’s time to upgrade. What do you all know about the Velocity boats? It seems like a pretty good deal. I just don’t know much about the boat is it a good rough water boat. Do they build a quality boat?

I've never seen a Velocity MCOB before? Why are the exhaust tips so far apart? I'd have to see some more detailed pics to have an opinion.

I'm with Dave M. Didn't know they made a MCOB and those tips are reallt far apart! Velocity makes a quality boat though. They are super fast as well.

Ask for engine pics, curious about the exhaust.

Velocity do make special order boats and MCOB is made per customer request. I would obtain the serial number and give to factory a call. http://www.velocitypowerboats.com/index.htm
I bought a used velocity and I gave them a call with HIN in hand, and all my questions were answered. They are pretty cool in getting your questions answered.

Here is another example of a MCOB: http://www.boattrader.com/listing/20...Rider-96646091

Velocitys are made with excellant craftsmanship, they are a quality boat. However they are not a rough water boat. they will eat up 2'-3' wind chop better than most, but when it comes to banging through big waves they can be a bit rough. they have a shallow V to start with and also have a Pad. Great stuff for fast choppy water, not so great for mixed up rough stuff.
