Mike,

About 40 minutes from Homestead to Key largo, and another half hour to Islamorada. The small cats fly, but we all seem to get there at the same time, any rough water, and they get passed by my 60MPH boat. Saturday was dead flat. Roundtrip a little over 100 miles, burned 60 gallons of fuel. Great run, get yourself that checkmate, and lets run it:drink:

that's great didn't take long at all . also 60 gallon's not bad so i would think a single 300xs motor would burn a little less then that . the tank on the checkmate only hold's 63 gallons max :)

I like that blue 21 Superboat in the pictures that's for sale over on S&F. I need someone to buy it in order to remove the temptation.

Did you notice how it ran?

At least 3, and a 21 skater.

Ran Very nice, he claims it runs in the 70's, not sure if he was being nice, knowing that I cant run over 60, but I never saw it break 60.

Music brought back some memories, I was a very young boy when that song was new. Love running that area.

Here is video that Xray50 shot of me running thru south biscayne bay south of homestead. I still gotta free the hull up some, and may do some mods to the motor soon.
