Anybody seen JAWS??? (CatawbaIS)
Just wondering what ever happened to the cat Jaws that hailed out of Catawba IS, havent seen it in a while?
|
Ill be at the Casino at Kellys this weekend. Ill ask.

Dennis Kaiser the ex owner of Jaws racing team and the Jaws pleasure boat sold them to (I think) someone in Cincinnati. They have been gone for over a year now. Kind of strange hanging out at Kelly’s without him on the wall. On the other hand kind of nice not having to sweat it out maneuvering around him:eek:

Tom,
Just so you know I still have the cup holders. I will throw them on the boat if I ever finish it.:D |

Look in the Photos section of OSO under SBI Miami. If that is the Jaws that you are talking about it currently lives in Florida. The owner also has a house up north.

OSO,
Yes that is the one we are talking about, there are two of them one is a canopied race boat (ran SBI superboat) the other is a open cockpit. |
the owner is mark hermann and he is a good friend of mine he has a house in fla and cinti oh. the boats are running great and the big one is racing sbi see ya charlie;)
|
So what kind of boats were they? I remember a couple of years back driving up to his hoist in west harbor and seeing a long cat with green drives that stuck about 10 feet off of the transom, and one awsome fu#king paint job! This was before I got into the boating scene and I didnt have a clue what the heck I was looking at.

Merlin540, It's great to hear the race boat made it back into SBI. The big one:rolleyes: What ones a 42 and the other is a 46:eek: :p I'm guessing at the numbers but I know I'm close.:D
So has the race boat finished a race yet? If you know the history then you can appreciate the question:p We were supporters of Dennis and friends always tried to make it to the Worlds. Nice to know we now have another owner to support. Best of luck and have a safe season. Your friend will do very well if he can finish. That boat was always in the lead untill something stupid or a intentional washdown would happen:( Scott |
