Why ... I try to empty it ,it said it is empty.

go through you private messages, click not only on the inbox tab, but also the sent tab-delete all those- then the message tracking delete those and viola-:D

I just had the same problem . In the top left side it says messages displayed from the past __ days . Mine said last 10 days. WHen I opened it to all days I had alot of messages !
