525 Efi Ignition Problems

My 2007 525 EFI at idol jump 50 to 100 RPMs and back down and above 3000 RPMs runs stead but I have lost top end.

Is the IAC valve shorted out?

Were is IAC valve located, this is the first EFI I've owned.
