Can't find any articles at this moment, but I have read on other forums about people dieing from this. Its my understanding that even if its on the swim platform if the air is still enough or if the wind changes and hits the boat a certain way the carbon monoxide can still drift into the cockpit and accumulate into the cabin. At a minimum at least put a carbon monoxide detector in the cabin and the cockpit. I know lots of people do it, but need to be extra careful.

If you want to feel what tap water will do running through a radiator, you can check out a port-a-cool. I have one at my shop it is nothing like a/c but it does blow cool enough to make you comfortable while working.

I have one of the Krusin Kool units that I would be happy to sell someone. 7K BTU unit in a Samosnite suitcase with the hoses and pump unit. Used it for a season on my 34PC and it cooled that down no problem.
If anyone is interested. Can send pics.
