Lake Lanier Run and LOTO same weekend.
Just wanted to see who is considering Lanier instead of LOTO.
I know several high profile members have contacted me about going as a change of scenery. It's a great lake, 58,000 acres. It doesnt have nearly as many bars as LOTO, but it DOES have Atlanta(and 60++ strip clubs) a few miles away.
Has anyone looked at the calendar and decided to make a change?

From one of our best supporting members:
LATE BREAKING NEWS!
PIER 57 has just become another sponsor of this event! The outrageous Pier 57 Hospitality semi truck and 53 foot trailer will be present at the Captains party Friday, August 26 alongside Windship on display as well as the Tilted Kilt race boats. Many thanks to David Woods, who will be with us in person!
Please come out and help us raise money for the kids at Camp Sunshine and for the Families of Fallen Soldiers. If you can't make it, feel free to send this email along to anyone you are acquainted with that might like to join us for what is sure to be a rockin weekend.

Windship and Pier 57 are sponsers of the Lake Lanier Castaways Poker Run on August 27. This is the third annual and NEW this year we have added a card stop at the North end of the lake for those, like I, who would like to have a longer 38 mile run there and 38 miles back in addition to the established four other stops at sponsoring marinas.
We also have the whole gang from Cigarette Racing, plus our Pier 57 support trailer will be the main stage for the event...

Cash, its too bad they would schedule these 2 events on the same weekend. there's so many weeks and months during the summer, it's a shame, bcuz both would be awesome PR's too attend........
Love the Pier57 Rig, I saw it at DS, right next to the Corvette 48 MTI. both looked amazing..!!
