I see one of the other boating sites looks like it's on the downward spiral . I check it about once a month, and this time it had like 16 post in a month. The owner had his boat at the top of the page and thats gone, and no action on "his" poker run threads either. Is JJ ok or maybe sick, or just not going to maintain the site anymore? Doesn't really matter, just curious why and what is going on with the SW site.

i used to love that site.... honestly i have not been to it in a few years now

Oh yeah, totally forgot about that one. I used to check it maybe twice a year. I think I still have a shirt when it used to be called fastboats.info.

Don't know what you are looking at. I see 15 to 20 posts a day. Yeah it's not as busy as OSO, seems to be more of a localized site.

Definitely not what it was in the past. A lot of the Chesapeake crowd that were on there all the time are gone for one reason or another. So whos knows the reason why..

There was also a NY, OH, MI crowd on there also. Too many cliques and the Jennings trying to keep everything sugar coated helped with its demise...

Was actually told a story this weekend that explained what has happened to it. OSO is here to stay and gives a place to call home, happy posting.

After I started this thread and was wondering what the deal was, I ran into a guy that I knew via Speedwake and he mentioned this thread and then told me what was said to have happened. I don't know if it is the real deal so I would rather not air it out until I know it is 100% how the story goes.

Id say air it out.....just use the word allegedly :)
