Default Emerald coast or LOTO

Question.....if you were to pick one to go to with a 30 Daytona which would you choose? Would fl be too rough for the 30? About the same distance to either from home. We've never been to one so we were hoping to get the full experience.

I'm thinking about taking the boat to one of them and doing the PR. But I'd also like to have the best chance of selling it while I'm there for WAY less than what I'm asking for it just so I don't have to drag it back to Texas.

What do you guys think?

Thumbs up 30 Daytona

If it was my 30, I would choose LOTO, without even thinking about it. Only becuz I wouldn't put my boat in the Salt Water, So I'd go with the fresh, lake waters, of LOTO.

Valid point. But I'm not too worried about a few days in the salt. If you do you due diligence afterwards you can prevent most problems from ever arising.

I would say that's think the market for a 30 would be better at LOTO.

Ditto! The Shootout is a great event. Be sure to try to make the street party on Wednesday.
You might not care about salt, but the next guy might,

LOTO, you can't go wrong, plus it's fresh water.

Im with Ya Hawaiian. I think your 30 is a perfect size lake boat for LOTO. I can't picture myself spending all that money for an eliminator, skater, mti etc... and launching it in the salt water and ruining my trailer, etc etc.... I'm too picky about my belongings lol. There's plenty of fresh water runs throughout the year, the salt's not for me..!

Have fun at LOTO, if you go..!!!!

Saw a couple Daytonas out on Lake Ozark earlier today...bring it, rent a slip at Capt. Ron's for the duration of the Shootout, put up an info sheet on the dock side of it with a price at the bottom and you'll get thousands of boat enthusiasts walking by it...Batman MTI did that a couple years back and despite my not being in a position to purchase, it did get the gears turning.

I ran a 30 in LOTO and in Destin for Emerald Coast. Both are great but don't go to LOTO and expect it to be calm. It's like a washing machine full of boat wake's. I think Emerald Coast has calmer water if that is what you are looking for, you boat mostly in the Intercoastal water way so it is protected water.
LOTO has a lot of impressive fast boats, really nice to see.
Emerald Coast has a lot of nice boats but is more of a party.
If you can make both If not plan on making the other next year. My 2cents
