800 teague / 500 merc?
There are two dcb mach 26 boats for sale in havasu right now...one has a 800 teague, and the other a 500 Merc...would you get the one with a 500 and put a whipple on it? Or would the 800 teague be just as reliable?

Pics, Pics?...... |
The Teague 800 will be vastly more reliable than bolting a blower to a stock Mercury engine.

Teague 800 , bulletproof

A motor built from the ground up to be an 800hp motor by a good builder is miles ahead of a motor built to be a 500hp motor that has been stretched to 800hp.
If both boats are nice Teague all the way |
My TCM800 has been 100% reliable. Around 160hrs now, zero issues. Runs like a banshee :)

Based on your question, Teague 800. The two that I have are great. Dustin had done a post on OSO saying that everyone he has ever dynoed they came out at over 850 HP

Ok Thx...I was just worried about the 800 being a carb motor but it will never leave havasu so I shouldn't have to worry about keeping the carbs dialed in...
