I believe they have built some twin big block staggered boats in the late 80s-early 90s.
They've been building boats since the mid 70s.
The new step bottom may or may not lend itself to a bbc stagger. Only way to know is to call Jo at the Plant.

I know the title says 30-33ft, but your 1st post has 2 boats that are 28ft... so that's kinda misleading.

IIRC, it's because this Schoell hull was designed for side by side, not stagger. Start moving around the COG and you'll change the ride.

With our patented hull design we don't have any lateral stability problems we need to compensate for by lowering the center of gravity.

That's actually not true. We insert the step into the process so we change it based on different factors. So in other words we can move the step forwards or back and increase or decrease the height as well.

And our designer, Harry Schoell, is about 1000' feet down the street so if I make a change I consult with him first as was the case with the new 33' Evolution with the 300 Yamahas we are building right now.

Give Ritchie Sutphen a call. He will build you anything you want. Great qualty construction and after owning a few a very smooth riding quick hull with no steps.
