E85 and 16#'s of Boost. I like seeing E85 used in boats!

Looks Dialed...
Can we expect some follow up numbers once Mike streches her legs...
1750hp and All Carbon, should be damn near 200mph... Looking forward to seeing additional pics and maybe video of this bad girl running... Thanks MT... |

No E85 to even be found in CT!
The boat looks sweet! BTW, Matt you have the first picture labeled as it being a "37"... you dont want to insult the new owner. ;) |

Didn't get him, so I sent a text that said "Call me." A couple of hours later he sent one that said, "Call me back." Another hour goes by before I can call him, but when I do he picks up the phone and says, "Hold on a second, I'm backing the new 47' cat into the water." Some days it pays to pick up the phone. |
That boat is beautiful and what a mean looking rig to pull it around.

Boat looks good Dustin, the E85 stuff is cool!

Rumor at the lake is that both motors burnt up on this thing. Anyone know the truth? People love to talk and was just curious what, if anything happened. I know we don't have E85 up here.. Get us the scoop Matt! :drink:

I would really hate to hear that for the owner after all this time and effort! We are all anxious to hear test results! Hope it's not true. |
The 1750's were replaced with Merc 1200's I think.

Maybe just temporary until the tuning is worked on? I was anxious to see how well the E85, that much horsepower with Whipples, and a Carbon OL Cat ran. I am sure you will figure the combintion out. Thanks |
growing pains...anything new....power...one off boats ...take time to dial in and get what u expect of it...have to admire these guys for always moving forward...always pushing the envelope. Not many companys doing the constant re-tooling that OL has been doing. And when they figure it out ol40svxxx will be on here waving the OL banner for all to see. Keep up the good work
