Default New 2001 Checkmate 270 Convincor

Just traded in the 24 Outlaw for this. I absolutely love it. 2 owner boat, 502MPI and the rest of the basic stuff. A huge change from an Outlaw to this.

I boat on Ky Lake and Lake Barkley. Never really been anywhere else to boat. Where do you go?

Don't get me wrong, there was cash involved lol. But overall I didn't get hurt and I'm not upside down in a boat now.

Overall just newer and bigger. Ride wise, they ride the same handling the bigger waves. Bigger motor than the one I had. And ever since I laid my eyes on a checkmate, I had to have one.

I wanted something with snap in carpet, very little wood in the interior and newer mainly. The cuddy is massive compared to my 24 outlaw, I can actually move and store things in there. The wife says it makes her feel safer so hey, I'm all about it.

Nothing wrong with my old outlaw just wanted to step up a bit.

Indeed, i'm interested in both checkmates and velocities as possible future boats.

Mainly Cumberland but have been to KY and Barkley a couple times. Enjoy the new ride and congrats again!
