Best place to sell my boat

Where is the best place to sell a boat now? I have had mine advertised on here, ABListings and on Craigslist but only getting tire kickers and dreamers. Where are they selling? 1999 33 scarab.

Unfortunately, price is going to sell you boat better than anything. I would think that on here or ebay would be the best places to move an appropriately priced boat. Buyers have a lot of options and the guy with the coin to write the check knows he has options and is going to purchase accordingly. Also, in your ad it says you are looking to move into an express cruiser so trading might be a win win as well

Also the boat trader, but as already stated the price is what is going to make it sell or not sell. Also on E-bay you get pretty good exposure, but still price, price, price!

Are you selling to get a sailboat? :)

Be prepared for it to sit. It will sell sooner or later.

like said above price will sell it. A year and a half ago there was a 2002 33 foot avs scarab for sale and it was listed for 59,995 with 496's and it sold in a few weeks

One thing you can try is advertising it in different localities on craigslist. It pisses off some of the local computer nerds but not every one looking for a 33' Scarab would think to look in Columbus.

Market is soft/close to dead, until you give it a firesale price you will probably keep owning it, it's a sorry state of economy out there. I have known several people who had to borrow money to sell boats/upside down, Smitty

I've sold my last three on eBay. Pretty quickly too. You can put a ton of pictures out there and write a book about it.
