Military offshore boat

Hey guys, Saturday I was driving back from the Outter banks though Norfolk Virginia and I saw something that sparked my curosity traveling south on I-64, It looked like a military offshore boat. It was on a low boy semi trailer with the top half tarped off. The boat was 36-45' long, had multiple steps, twin inboards (similiar transom to a Sea Ray with inboards). It was either military gray or primer grey and the beam was in the 9-11' range. The boat height was 8-10' tall. Any thoughts? It went by to quick to get a pic.

did it have a beak? I know awhile back there was a thread on here about a 42 fountain made for the military

I probably was they use them quite a bit in that area for training. Super thick hull and naturally aspriated motors #6 drives on most. If you see it again don't take any pics.

I'm back in Ohio, it did look like they were trying to hide it. The cover was more than a something to keep the weather off of it.
