I don't think the water was that rough...Sometimes when you are out on the open ocean a big one would just pop up out of nowhere...

True. And this was a 75 mph + boat so who knows how fast they were going when they hit the wave. You take the speed into consideration, and large wave coming over the bow, and I can tell you there is definitely enough force to pull a 73 y/o off his feet and out the back, especially with that open cockpit design. Very tragic.
