Wonder what their life span is before rebuilds?
Engines are getting extreme off the shelf nowdays.
Probably not worth a dam in a boat as it's a drag engine, but what a beast.

Drop the compression a bit, replace the aluminum rods with titanium or steel, change the cam specs a bit and walla.

there is an article on it in the last Hot Rod I think. it shows all the components of it and states that there is going to be a street version of it with lower comp. etc. the physical size of it is like comparing a small block to a big block. very impresive piece though.

I am curious what these will sell for? Obviously at that stroke and bore size they cannot be used as a marine high performance endurance engine and the cost to rebuild would be pretty stiff also.
Nice part, but it ain't gonna work in "Joe Boaters Boat!" Dream on , its fun reading the idle chit-chat!

how fast will it throw a rod throught the block .

It probably wont, those billet blocks are usually designed to throw the rods into the pan and even if it does they sell blow out patches for the blocks!! or at least that is the case for keith black hemi's
