In Seaford, VA - very low lying area. Best case scenario we'll get tide surge and it will only get in the garage. Worst case scenario it goes in the actual house. Unfortunately my entire family lives in the same basic neighborhood so all our eggs are in one basket. Sucks because we just had a guy out to give us an estimate on raising the house a couple weeks ago.
We are moving all the cars and boats to my office. I'll put the other stuff with motors IN the actual house - I figure if the water gets IN the house I've got bigger problems than whether the 4-wheeler runs or whether the leaf blower gets covered in salt water.
Additionally - we've got the generator ready, a hotel room in higher ground, and will take all our irreplaceables with us (birth certificates, passports, pictures, etc...)
OH - and we've also got our fingers crossed.

Pulling boats, all day and probably all day tomorrow too. Most of the barrier Islands are being evacuated tomorrow am but I still have at least 8 boats to get out so far.

When Isabel hit us we lost our power for 3 1/2 weeks! No generator the entire time either!
