Default Best boat hull for Lake Erie?

Hello this is my first post; I am looking to get into my first performance boat in the spring. Can anyone give some advice on the best boat manufacture for the money and which one will handle the best on the lake? I have been away from the lake for almost 10 years and now the kids are getting older. Thanks in advance.
Some of the features I think I need are the following.
• 26 to 33 ft
• Twins or single?
• Sleeps 2 to 3
• Price 30k to 50k
• Enclosed head
• And I have this thing for speed

I would say that Sutphen fits all of your needs except the enclosed head.

28 Active Thunder
28 Sonic
31 Sonic
32 Active Thunder
31 Cigarette bullet(not sure about the enclosed head)

Just seen a 01 tricked out sell for under 55 with 300 hrs, worth upping your price range for imo

Those year Dominators do not have an enclosed head. A Dominator is not going to be the best riding boat in the size range on Lake Erie. There were many days on LOTO when we turned around and went back to the dock because we weren't in the mood to have our kidneys beat out of our bodies.

I'm not talking 2' chop. I'm talking Holiday weekends on the main channel in washing machine water where you have no idea where the next 6' - 8' hole in may appear due to opposing cruiser wakes. I'm sure a good day on Erie would make that water look like a ripple.
