made the jump from a V hull to a Cat. builder sent pick to day what do you guys think ? went from a 24' baja h2x that went 68 on gps to a 28 profile cat with a 540 bb 650hp, this should be fun:D

Very nice...;) Just remember not to drive it like a Vee Bottom. Cats prefer to drive themselves if you know what I mean. Just let the hull do all the work it is designed to do. Enjoy......

Welcome to a cat! It's like having two boats, two boats in one!!!
They're right, tcats don't drive like a V-hull. When I firsat got mine home and spent some time learning to drive it I had MAJOR second thoughts about it.    But as I gained experience, I learned those thoughts were the result of my driving! :o Much too quick with the wheel and just not knowing what the boat wanted. Now after about 25 hours - I love it and feel 110% comfortable driving at all speeds!! So far I've run about 95 at about 14% slip. I'm now trying other props in search of 100MPH. Take it easy at first gain "the touch" and gain confidence. You're gonna love it!!! :D :D By the way great paint! |
congrats!!!!!!
beautiful boat |
IMCO 3'' rise stand off box and imco SC drive. Will there be a major learning curve. i have owned boats for 10years but never a cat
