Lets scale it down a bit. Video of my 13'er
Video running the St. Johns river back to Lake Monroe. I was the only 4 cylinder running with some big dogs capable of speeds 120-130mph. I was struggling with some steering issues that kept my speed down in the turns and hit around 75mph in the straights spinning a 26 pitch Mercury ET. The boat runs low to mid 80's with a cleaver but is hard to drive.

Cool! Reminds me of my old Hydrostream days.

Make sure to watch the end when I cross the lake in "rough" water. I will be switching to solid engine mounts this winter. Motor looks like its going to rip off the transom!
I cant post a pic of the boat but this is an old video that shows it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yMF31PI111s |
Very Cool!! Thanks for posting!

Maybe I should take it to LOTO next year
Actually, a little boat class would be pretty cool. |
Nice run-----------

Someone posted on the video that I need solid engine mounts. Thats the plan for this wiinter. Solid mounts, remove the exhaust can to lighten it up some more, and maybe cut the midsecton 5" to get the center of gravity down.
These are the boats from that run. |
