I will say this though, I would be proud to own it. Even with all the negative past, It is an awesomelooking and am sure running machine.

just trying to put myself in your shoes at that time wondering how I would react...... I can't figure out if I would be sick or ready to hunt down some peeps and proly go to jail...hope this thread didn't bring back any bad thoughts and feelings

It doesn't bring up bad memories for me. Its a good story that I'll always have to tell people. It was a life lesson for me, and that was to trust no one especially in the boating industry.

I didn't have to worry about jail, because I talked to the chief of police and let him know what was going on. He had a couple of guys at the launch ramp and at the marina.

I'd value it now that I've looked at the pictures again at about 75k.

Pappo, I was told Saturday that when sold the boat that Grady bought it back from you, is that right?

endeavor1 09-26-2011 01:16 PM

Id like to know what it felt like to ride in that machine. I bet the ride was unreal.

LOL Mike tell that story it is almost as funny

pappo 09-26-2011 01:20 PM

Nope, some guy in Detroit bought it, but think he was somehow mixed up with them because their name started showing up shortly after.

I was told by Bobby that he had a guy that wanted to buy the boat and it was heading immediately down to Miami and he was going to look after it in Miami. Hmmmm, wonder if that was the truth. Pretty funny that a couple weeks later it was still in Grand Haven and needed to have the cabin interior fixed. :)

Everything with this boat is sketchy. I would be very careful of the information you receive.
