Default Bought my first Formula today! Pics inside!!

Today I bought a Formula 242 SS.. I am very excited because I am upgrading from a 19' bow rider that I bought 2 years ago. I boat on the Upper Chesapeake Bay and I'm excited to be able to explore further south without always being so concerned with what the water conditions are going to be like. I have been looking at boats for about 6 months and I couldn't be happier with the boat I bought and the deal I got. It's not perfect but it was extremely well cared for. The guy I bought it from owned it for 10 years and put a lot of time and money into the boat. Anyway, I know all you guys care about are pics. So here is a link to a slideshow..

I would post the pics here but it's not allowing me too... Anyway, take a look at the pics and let me know what you think!

Andrew

Thanks! I can't remember everything that was done to the engine. It started as a 454 but the only things he used from the original engine are the block and crank. It has Comp Cams Rockers, ARP Push Roods, Edlebrock Cams and an Edlebrock Marine Top-end Kit. That's all I can remember off the top of my head. The engine put out 500hp on the dyno and I think 535 ft. lbs of torque.

Funny you say that!! The first boat we bought was purchased with the money I had been saving for an engagement ring!! That was 2 years ago, and week just got married 2 weeks ago, and this was our wedding gift to each other!! I'm lucky, she is obsessed with boating! When we went and looked at this boat we were considering getting a cruiser such as a Sundance. But after she saw this boat she told me I better buy it for her!

This will be nice though because our marina is 50 minutes from where we live and it's going to be nice to have the option to spend the night instead of making a trip down on Saturdays and Sundays...

Thanks! I'm hoping to take it out this Sunday.. We couldn't take it out this weekend because there's too much debris in the water from all the flooding..

Edit: I just saw you have a Fastech, that's what the seller was upgrading to, I believe 35'.
