graphite paint
has anyone used it on the bottom of their boat
i seen it today on the bottom of a drag boat i asked the guy wat it was as it was verey very slippy when wet and would rub off with your fingers . he never told me but his 15 year old son told me it was graphite paint and that they apply it before every race |
doesnt sound very practical. :drink:
Might as well coat the bottom of the boat in lard. |
Could be like a graphite lube spray , good short term.

Wont Rain-X do the same thing?

The application on an everyday performance boat wouldn't even be noticeable. On a drag boat might give them tenths of a second. The difference between who wins & who lost..
